A spokesperson from Amazon Inc. declared on Wednesday, 6th March, 2019 that all the U.S pop up stores run by Amazon.com Inc. will now be shut down, as amazon has now decided to focus on establishing more book stores. The company shares fell down up to 1.4 percent due to the loss that the book seller company Barnes & Noble Inc. experienced up to 8.9 percent. United States had almost 87 pop-up stores by Amazon which are now planned to be shut down till the end of April month. Street Journal of the region published the news on Wednesday after conversation with the pop-up store employees. Amazon is still working very hard to execute the perfect strategy to cover up the losses and launch the new book stores. Pop-up stores were run by Amazon in order to showcase new novels and books along with voice-controlled Echo speakers to gain attraction of the consumers. In the recent years Amazon has been gaining more consumers and demand due to the advertisement in the Whole Foods store chain and thus the pop-up stores experienced loss and eventually were declared to be shut down. The Amazon representative also stated that they are planning to open 4-star stores as well that will enable the online retailer company to sell their 4-stars rated products. The final decision was focused on providing much better and comprehensive experience to the consumers at a larger span.
